我会好好照顾你的
“I'll take good care of you.”
THE DIALOGUE REEL
“I just want you to pass a message to Officer Qin.”
我会 好好照顾你 的
“I'll take good care of you.”
“Sorry, Mr. Xia. Sorry, I'm sorry. I'm leaving now.”
“Tell Officer Qin for me: 'I will take good care of you.'”
In spoken Chinese, speakers often jump straight into the quoted message without saying 'tell him that...', which can easily cause comical misunderstandings if the listener thinks the words are directed at them.
