“I've been allowed to contribute my modest efforts and share some humble insights here.”
“I am deeply honored by Master Wei's gracious favor and esteem, for which I am sincerely obliged.”
An ancient respectful title for the person in charge of lecturing and managing affairs at a traditional academy (shuyuan), equivalent to a modern academy president or headmaster.
Originating from the historical allusion of Ruan Ji's 'qingbaiyan' (black and white eyes), where looking directly with the dark pupils indicated respect and appreciation. Later generations used 'chuiqing' as an honorific meaning to receive favor, high regard, or esteem from a superior or person of prominence.
