Unsettled Case
DIALOGUE CLIPS (903)
It was the middle of nowhere. Took me an hour to get there.
- [Claire sighs] - [Carl] She doesn't sound that likeable.
He would have done anything for her. Absolutely anything.
Far as I know, he was the only person she loved.
Someone's there one day, gone the next.
I don't follow him around.
How can I get the records of Merritt Lingard's cases?
- [sighs] He's up to something. - Excuse me?
Carl doesn't let someone like you assist him.
It really wasn't a big deal.
I know what you're gonna say, but I haven't had an episode in months.
It's just not the right time.
Carl, who right now is mental as fuck,
gets a whole department he doesn't care about.
"When do things ever calm down?" Fucking idiot.
You were yammering away, making jokes.
What you call yammering, we call coping.
He's dead and can't say what he did or didn't do.
A giant cock-up.
Seriously pissed off.
- If you say so. - [Irving] You say so.
- [scoffs] Were we ever on track? - I don't know. Maybe.
- I'll go out and come back in again. - Oh, God. Look…
[sternly] Whatever you've got, you're not to share it.
