主角
多年前，县剧团招学员，在团里任司鼓的胡三元替外甥女报名，将年少的她改名易秦娥从家乡带出来学唱秦腔。因胡三元造成的事故，易秦娥受到影响，学习秦腔之路屡遭波折。但她凭借刻苦的劲头和自身的条件获得了老艺人的赏识和热情帮扶。她的“破蒙戏”在乡村舞台上音惊四座，后改名忆秦娥被调入省秦腔团。 她勤学苦练，在台上的演出屡获成功。历经波折，她终于明白对秦腔艺术的传承才是她作为“主角”的真正意义，她将继续培养新一代秦腔舞台上亮丽的主角。
